Description

The people of Yamatai use a different breed of horse to any found on the mainland. Their horses are shorter and bred for hardiness when travelling across the many mountains that dot their mysterious isle.

Their saddles reflect this - with a focus on artistry and hardiness not commonly found in the kingdoms of the West.

Though the style varies from culture to culture, the cavalry saddle shares several elements across the board. It is designed to allow horses the mobility they need to accelerate as fast as possible. Though not capable of being sustained for a long time, the cavalry saddle also allows horses to reach their greatest speed potential.
