This vault, made from steel and iron, represents the most secure location to store excess items and materials. Breaking into this vault will require a heroic effort.
Notes[]
- This storage container requires almost a four-by-four space for it to be placed.
- While it is one of the containers with the most capacity, it is outweighted by the fact that it requires a big space for it to be placed.
- The Vault used to be crafted at the Carpenter's Bench, prior to the July 5th 2018 PC patch.

Steel Bar - 113 Hardened Brick
- 94 Steel Reinforcement
Dismantle[]
The Vault can be dismantled using the 
Dismantling Bench to recover the following materials:
- 12 Steel Bar
- 46 Hardened Brick
- 38 Steel Reinforcement
For slightly more materials, you can use the 
Improved Dismantling Bench:
- 15 Steel Bar
- 57 Hardened Brick
- 47 Steel Reinforcement

Vault

The vault barely fits into a square room four foundations wide and three foundation levels high. It might be necessary to build the side walls first.

In the 5th July 2018 patch, the Vault and all crates were moved to being crafted in the Artisan's Worktable.
