Though they have given up the nomadic lifestyle of their Hyrkanian brethren, the cavalry of Turan is still a formidable sight. With their wicked schimitars and purple turbans, a charge of Turanians thundering across the desert leaves their opponents and the ground shaking.
Though the style varies from culture to culture, the cavalry saddle shares several elements across the board. It is designed to allow horses the mobility they need to accelerate as fast as possible. Though not capable of being sustained for a long time, the cavalry saddle also allows horses to reach their greatest speed potential.
