The Exiles Journey

This is a collection of all the steps in The Exile's Journey and explanations about how to complete them. Some of the steps are simply understood, such as: Climb, Eat, Drink; but others such as Find Signs of Intelligent Life or Scout a Dafari Camp, though stated directly, can be somewhat ambiguous; this Page is help make them more unambiguous. Please refer to the below entries for information on The Exile's Journey steps.

Journey Chapters

The Journey is split into 10 chapters, each of which has 10 journey steps within.

The game UI displays the next three steps in the top-right of your screen.

Chapter 1

• Climb - Climb anything
• Eat - Eat anything
• Drink - Drink anything
• Use a bed or bedroll - Craft a simple bedroll and deploy it. You will need the resource called Natural fiber, which can be gathered from any large (non-tree type) plant. A bed is only available a little later in the game and it is much simpler to just bedroll, it up.
• Clothe yourself - Craft the basic clothing set using Plant Fiber which can be found by harvesting plants, and then equip it.
• Slay! - Kill something, anything, anything you want. Not that you idiot, you're level one!
• Craft a tool - gather branches and rocks from the ground and then in the craft menu select either the Stone Pick or Stone Hatchet or another less important tool.
• Find signs of intelligent life - (undescribed)
• Kick - If you cannot find the kick button on your respective platform consult the in-game menu for the button layout.
• Dodge - If you cannot find the dodge button on your respective platform consult the in-game menu for the button layout.

Chapter 2

• Spend Knowledge Points

• Get a dedicated weapon
• Eat a filling meal
• Find shelter
• Perform a Heavy Finisher with a weapon

• Use a Torch

• Scout an Exile Camp

• Store goods

• Create a home

• Block an attack (with a shield)

Chapter 3

• Equip a piece of light armor (as of today this achievement is currently glitched and cannot be unlocked)

• Use a skinning dagger to skin an animal
• Scout a Darfari camp
• Obtain an iron bar
• Find somebody to talk to (neutral/friendly NPC)
• Shoot an enemy
• Venerate the gods
• Get a head
• Throw an orb (the icon seems to glitch though the achievement is unlocked properly)
• Use a pick to gather bark from trees

Chapter 4

• Put an Enemy in the Wheel of Pain
• Sleep in a Bed
• Craft an iron tool
• Obtain a potion
• Show your religious zeal
• Mine all the iron in a node
• Dye an item
• Catch a fish
• Plant seeds
• Earn a perk

Chapter 5

• Craft an exceptional or flawless item
• Destroy the Abyssal Remnant
• Upgrade a building piece
• Obtain the head of a boss creature
• Ride an elevator
• Scout a Black Hand camp
• Decorate yourself with warpaint
• Fire a trebuchet
• Combine Orb Effects
• Climb the Tower of Bats

Chapter 6

• Use an explosive
• Modify a weapon
• Scout a Dogs of the Desert camp
• Lure an enemy into a trap
• Modify a piece of armor
• Squish something in a fluid press
• Drink from a well
• Cripple an enemy
• Sunder an enemy
• Make an enemy bleed

Chapter 7

• Survive a sandstorm outside of shelter
• Explore the Unnamed City
• Survive a Purge
• Destroy a Dragon
• Visit Sepermeru
• Attune an Obelisk
• Create a Map-room
• Recruit a unique thrall
• Equip a Raider Armor Piece
• Cleanse the corruption by watching an entertainer

Chapter 8

• Visit New Asagard
• Defeat the Kinscourge

• Get extremely drunk

• Enter the Palace of the Witch Queen

• Drink the Yellow Lotus Potion

• Harvest the Black Lotus Blossom

• Discover all of the Lemurian Lorestones

• Harvest a fallen star for ore

• Build or Upgrade your building to the highest tier

• Discover what haunts the Sanctuary Ruins

Chapter 9

• Visit the Mounds of the dead. (far left of new asgard)

Chapter 10

Equip an Epic Armor Set
