When the armies of Stygia march, it is an impressive sight. In the vanguard, bow-wielding nobles riding bronze-worked chariots drawn by black horses and behind them, the glittering columns of mail-clad warriors.
This heavily ornamented, plated suit of armor is worn by commanding officers of high rank to make them more easily recognizable on the battlefield.
The pinnacle of protection, heavy armor is a solid wall of defense against any type of attack, but the extreme weight requirements mean that the wearer must sacrifice mobility.
