Description[]
“ | The acolytes seemed to be following this thread, and there suddenly came to him Khemsa's cryptic words - 'Follow the golden vein!' On the brink, under his very hand as he crouched, he found it - a thin vein of sparkling gold running from an outcropping of ore to the edge and down, across the silvery floor. | „ |

The pick is one of the simplest tools known to man. Used extensively in mines across Hyboria to split rocks and, if necessary, split heads.
Star metal is rare, smelted from ore that falls from the heavens. Tools made from material are preternaturally strong, able to break rocks of adamantine toughness.
Notes[]
- Each swing of this pick collects 14-15 Stones and costs 1 durability. Hitting something that is not minable does not cost durability.
- Swinging the pick does not cost Stamina, but continuously swinging it will prevent stamina regeneration.
- The Pickaxe (comparable to Steel Pick), Star Metal Pickaxe (comparable to Star Metal Pick) and Eldarium Pick-axe (comparable to Eldarium Pick) are not direct upgrades of this item, but serve the purpose of both a pick and a hatchet.
- There are six tiers to this tool, in terms of Harvesting Power.
The following is a list of tools by type with their respective harvesting power.
Each tool has a harvesting power associated with it, which signifies how good it is at gathering resources. The formula can be found at Resources. Fists have a harvesting power of Zero.
