Description[]
“ | Of this Kothian wizard dark tales were told; tousle-headed women in northern and western villages frightened children with his name, and rebellious slaves were brought to abased submission quicker than by the lash, with threat of being sold to him. Men said that he had a whole library of dark works bound in skin flayed from living human victims, and that in nameless pits below the hill whereon his palace sat, he trafficked with the powers of darkness, trading screaming girl slaves for unholy secrets. | „ |

There is a tale told that when the pits beneath the palace of Tsotha-lanti were being created, the work fell behind schedule. Tsotha-lanti demanded to know the reason for the delay and the trembling slave explained that they had encountered stone beneath the earth that was resistant to their hammers, which kept shattering on the hard stone.
Tsotha slew the unfortunate slave, and then passed the rest of the work gangs hammers through the blood, muttering an incantation. From that point onwards, the hammers smashed the stone easily and never seemed to chip or break.
When the work was complete, the hammers used disappeared and how they came to be where they are today is unknown.
