Known as the blood of trees, particularly of those growing in the highlands. Resin weeps from the wounds cleaved into bark, protecting the plant from injury and illness. Humankind has found some uses for the viscous stuff, including certain perfumes and incenses precious to religious rites.

You can obtain Resin using a pick on any tree, although the pickaxe will also do, but provides less Resin.
Resin is also a by-product of the Dryer, which uses a recipe that takes Wood to create Dry Wood and Resin (see below).
