When depicting the Poitain in either tapestry or song, the singular, most iconic representation of the land is always of the knights who defend it. Steel-clad horse warriors charging across the vista, crested helms of blood-red plumage flying in the wind. Each set of a knight's heavy armor is an individual work of artisanal excellence, hand-crafted and fitted to the individual wearer. In the Exiled Lands, such a set of armor is valuable beyond belief. The pinnacle of protection, steel armor is a solid wall of defense against any type of attack, but the extreme weight requirements mean that the wearer must sacrifice mobility.
