Description

Prepared by a secret process, known only to those slaves of the Giant-kings who toiled in the arena, oils such as these were used to subtly influence the outcomes of arena combat. This oil, when coating a weapon, causes the weapon to slide toward weak points in the armor, allowing it to more easily penetrate the surface. The downside is that the oil is acidic and eats away at the weapon over time, rendering it brittle and much more likely to break.

Notes

• The recipe can be bought from The Archivist for 5  Fragments of Power.
• The Oil of Penetration can be applied to unmodified weapons with full durability to provide +20% armor penetration.
• When applied, a timer will be set on the weapon depending on its overall durability, upon the timer running out, ~95% of weapon's durability will be removed.
