The meadowlands of Nemedia are a perfect place for the rearing and training of horses. The flat, grassy terrain is used for training cavalry - while the mountainous eastern borders are used for training scout horses capable of great feats of endurance.
Some types of cavalry rely on their speed and mobility to perform flanking manouveres, while others are all about the charge. This saddle is designed for the latter - allowing attackers to stay in the stirrups taking repeated blows while they use the momentum of their mounts to force a break in enemy lines. For anyone who wishes to ride a mount into battle and stay there for a while, this is the saddle of choice.
