Smaller, cuter and significantly less dangerous than its parents, this immature animal can be placed in an animal pen and given various types of fodder to make it grow. With good food and a little luck, it will grow to be a loyal companion or fierce guardian. Or a quick meal. If worst comes to worst.

Gold Coins. - Grub enemies can be picked up to receive Locust Spawn, including:
- Parasites in the The Sunken City in the Exiled Lands.
- Oozes south of the The Tower on the Isle of Siptah.
- Doels spawned by the Blood-Moon Beasts on either map.
- Emissary of Abhoth found on the Volcano in the Exiled Lands.
- Unlike other baby animals, Locust Spawn will attempt to attack other creatures that aren't wild Sand Reapers.
