I find myself within the forest primeval - a trackless jungle wasteland stalked by antediluvian beasts from a lost age. Even the flora here evidences a malignant and threatening aspect.
Day 191.
At long last, I have discovered that which I seek. On the far edge of the jungle, I have identified a Yothga plant - a hell-spawned aberration of nature that should not be in our world.
While there is insufficient time to study the diabolic metaphysics of the Yothga, in simple terms, I believe the root system acts a dimensional conduit or gateway that will admit the demon to our world.
Day 192
Before I attempt to challenge the beast, I must gain power over it - I must learn its true name. Unfortunately, the only way to gain this hidden knowledge is from one of the demon's own ilk. Fortunately, demons are a treacherous and saturnine race, prone to betraying each other.
After the sun goes down, I will attempt contact with the demon world.
