Conan Exiles Wiki
Isle of Siptah is a massive expansion to the open world survival game Conan Exiles, featuring a vast new island to explore, huge and vile new creatures to slay, new building sets and a whole new gameplay cycle. Fight the elder races in new underground dungeons. Defeat demonic monstrosities that spawn from a storm of pure chaos. Dominate the surge to secure the island's only supply of thralls.

You arrive at the island shipwrecked and alone. With nothing but the scraps on your back, you craft the tools you need to survive. At first a simple camp and some crude stone tools, with time a fortress and brutal greatswords made from hardened steel or obsidian.

Your eyes are drawn towards the center of the island, where a dark tower looms above the landscape. The violent storm that swirls around it seems to gather strength and unspeakable horrors stalk within. But your most dangerous foe may be the other survivors on the island, as resources are scarce and the fight for survival is savage and brutal.

  • The map size is roughly 90% that of the Exiled Lands map.[4]
  • Not all items or gameplay mechanics from the Exiled Lands are available in the Isle of Siptah for design reasons.[5]
  • The Icon rhino wartorn.png Wartorn Rhino (Pet) is a skin for the Rhino mount which can only be acquired by buying the DLC during its Steam Early Access phase.[6]
  • You will be able to choose which map you wish to play on when playing Single Player, Co-Op, or setting up a Dedicated Server.[7]
    • To play on Siptah, you will need a new savegame/database. They are not linked, but separate maps. There is an option to swap between these maps when loading a game, meaning you won't lose progress on the Exiled lands or Siptah when playing on the other map.
    • A dedicated server instance can only run one map at a time; however, a dedicated server can run one or more of each instance concurrently.
  • There are also official servers available which run the Isle of Siptah.[8]
  • Mods will work on Siptah as they work on the Exiled lands, however the map itself is not editable.[9]

  • The map expansion DLC was originally teased during the Q3 2019 financial stream. It was confirmed in a public investor release on January 22, 2020.[10][11] and a release ETA of H2 2020 was later revealed in the Q4 2019 Financial Report on February 28, 2020.[12]
  • Locations were teased; "Isle of Siptah" (reference to The Gem in the Tower) was teased on a Facebook ad, first seen on April 9, 2020[13][14], but was only picked up May 3, 2020 after "The Shattered Shore" was teased on an Instagram ad, first seen on April 10, 2020.[15][16] There may be other names, but these have not been documented yet.[17]
  • Hidden Achievements (see page) were added to Steam on June 15, 2020 which reveal the following (may include base game content):
    • Items: Sigils (can not be stacked), Eldarium items (can be crafted using Eldarium), Greater Essence (can be obtained).
    • Locations: Vault, Leyshrine (altar), The Maelstrom, Siptah's Tower.
    • Enemies: Surge (has several tiers, can be summoned).
They were later removed until Early Access launch.

On September 3, 2020 the website was given a countdown with each day before the announcement having its own teaser image (or "seal"). In a PR release on the same day, it was also mentioned they would post teasers on Twitter daily.[18]

Dark clouds on the horizon.

Whispers of chaos and a demonic storm.
And in the vortex, The Black Tower seeks to dominate all life.

Be prepared.

"The Black Tower" may be a reference to Red Sonja: The Black Tower.[20]

"Ah, that was a grim and secret war! Among the men of the Younger Earth stole the frightful monsters of the Elder Planet, safeguarded by their horrid wisdom and mysticisms, taking all forms and shapes, doing deeds of horror secretly. No man knew who was true man and who false. No man could trust any man."
