Normally, ice is found only in the frigid north, the highest peaks, or the deep winters. To the people of the Hyborian Age, ice is a rare commodity. Sometimes, the very wealthy are able to acquire the frozen treat, commissioning massive blocks of ice to be brought down from the mountains, so that a tiny speck of it might survive the melting in order to reach their greedy tongues.

Notes

Ice can most obviously be harvested from large nodes of spiky ice crystals, but can also be acquired from snow-covered blue stones in the north, from thin ice patches floating on cold water, as well as from the following creatures:
