Grave Matter is a limited-time in-game event in Conan Exiles, running from December 8, 2021 until January 10, 2022.[1]
Event

Active ritual site
A summoner will appear in one of several random sites on the map. The ritual location will be marked with a special red icon.
During the ritual event, the NPCs normally present in the area will be absent.
When the site is appraoched, a summoner can be found protected by an invincible barrier and several totems will rise out of the ground. Hostile undead enemies will periodically be summoned near the totems and corrupting mist will billow from the totems' mouths.
The undead enemies may be killed for minor loot, but killing them is not necessary and they can also be ignored.
Each totem must be destroyed. Once all totems are eliminated, the barrier surrounding the summoner will shatter with a bright flash of light and they will become vulnerable and hostile.
There are three possible summoners:
- Kalisha the Masked: A female Darfari Senechal priest who is immune to concussive damage and cannot be knocked out.
- Stathem the Embalmer: a male Lemurian Overseer Taskmaster.
- Boreanaz the Shrouded: a male Hyperborean Overseer Taskmaster.
Knocking out the summoners will end the ritual, but will not cause the loot chest to appear.
Once the summoner is killed, any remaining undead will also immediately die, and a loot chest that resembles a Wooden Box with glowing yellow sparks and wisps coming out will appear nearby.
All of the local NPCs will begin returning shortly after the event is ended, and a new ritual will begin after about fifteen minutes.
Reward
The loot chest will contain random loot, a random number of Potions of Lost Souls, and at least one of the following items unique to the event:
Skelos Cultist Master's Hood- Skelos Cultist Master's Robe
- Skelos Cultist Master's Handwraps
- Skelos Cultist Master's Skirt
- Skelos Cultist Master's Shoes
