Kings, as it is known in the common tongue, is a game that has its origins somewhere in the far east of the Thurian continent. Traders along the lotus road were the first to spread the game among the Hyborian kingdoms, where it quickly became popular among the nobility and merchant classes.
It is typically played on a square checkered board that is eight squares wide and eight squares long. Each piece has a specific type of movement associated with it, and usually the white pieces are the first to move.
These pieces, carved from large chunks of stone, have been created in a Khitan style.
