When the people of the northern Argos bury their dead, they bury them deep. This is because the forests near their homes are haunted by the savage demons known as Ghouls. Ghouls will dig up the dead to eat them and, if desperate, seek to prey upon the living.
This blade carries the taint of the ghoulish race upon it, poisoning the flesh it damages.
