Changes: Follower Perks

Description

Follower perks add modifiers to a follower's attributes. Modifiers can be positive or negative. Perks can modify a single attribute or multiple attributes. All followers can unlock perks at levels 10, 15, and 20. When a follower reaches a level that unlocks a perk, the game rolls on a Perk Table for that type of follower (example: a human follower rolls from the Human perk table, while pets roll from a different perk table). Each Perk table contains all perks possible for that type of follower. Each Perk has criteria that determines whether or not a follower is eligible to receive that perk. Perk criteria can include level ranges, HP ranges, attribute ranges, and Perk Level ranges. See the charts below for follower perks and their criteria (by follower type: thrall, mount, pet, named dogs).

Some Perks are considered universal, and can be earned by any type of follower (humans, or any pet type).

The Perk modifiers are in addition to any other modifiers that exist for that follower, such as modifiers granted by weapons, armor, and base stats.

Perks have the ability to modify these follower attributes:

Strength - Increases the damage of melee weapons
Agility - Increases armor rating
Vitality - Increases HP
Accuracy - Increases the damage of ranged weapons
Survival - Reduces the effects of negative status effects, such as: poison, bleed, extreme temperature effects, etc ...

NOTE: Followers do not have the Grit or the Encumbrance attributes.Each perk has an in-game description. These descriptions are for lore purposes only. The only effect each perk has is the modification to the follower's attributes displayed in its in-game description. Unlocking a perk is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Notes

Available Perks

All denotes the perk can be granted at levels 10, 15 and 20.
Universal denotes the perk can be granted to all Follower types at levels 10, 15 and 20.
Range Restrictions denotes the attribute range in which a follower is eligible to receive a perk at the given level. If the follower's attribute is below the minimum range or above the maximum range at the time it reaches the respective level, it will not be eligible to receive the listed perk, and thus, will not.
