Description

Forged of the same metal as the vaults, these boots are finely crafted and speak of a technological sophistication that was lost to humankind with the drowning of the world in the great cataclysm. That the Elder Races can still create such pieces, even in their degenerate state, speaks volumes to the power of oral history and racial memory.

These boots react with water, altering the shape of the limbs within them, elongating and becoming like fins. This is probably the original shape of the boots and it is only by some strange property of the metal that they can fit a human wearer at all. The wearer becomes filled with a dynamic energy when wearing these boots.

Notes

• Fins of the Drowned provide the Cleansing bonus, which cures poison effects every 30 seconds.
• This armor requires the Drowned Vault Armors knowledge in order to craft.
  • This knowledge can be unlocked by interacting with a stele at the end of the Harbor of the Drowned or the Harbor of the Twice-Drowned Vault.
