Unlock the Grinder Knowledge | The Grinder will provide you with bonemeal which is in turn used to make compost in your Compost Heap. Unlock Grinder from the Knowledge menu. |

Obtain Compost | Compost can be used in planters to grow seeds into plants. You obtain compost by putting Plant Fiber, Bonemeal and Putrid Meat into a Compost Heap. If you have access to an Animal Pen, you may replace the Bonemeal and Putrid Meat with Dung instead. |

Harvest Seeds | By harvesting wild plants, you will often come across seeds. Different plants yield distinct types of seeds. Press {InteractKey} while facing plants on the ground to pick them up. You can also use a Sickle to harvest them. |
