This gem, and others like it, were once used by Priests of Set in their most sacred rituals. It is gravest heresy to discuss such rites, but they involved serpents, sacrifices and blood.
This gem is said to be the eye of a real serpent, hardened to stone by the ritual, containing the wisdom and power of Set. One need only stare deeply into the stone to be mesmerized by the power of Set.
Using this gem will teach the Set religion.
