These small insects live and feed on cacti. They can be prepared into a bright red dye for use in coloring textiles.

To Harvest: Hit Cactus plants with a Hatchet or Sickle.
Copious amounts of Cochineal can be obtained by harvesting red-leaved plants inside the Volcano with a Pick.
