Description[]
The Black Dragons are the elite troops of Aquilonia, charged with guarding the Royal family until death. They are well respected throughout Tarantia and the realm, and the king sends them to serve his justice to bandits and other outlaws.
Namedides, the current king of Aquilonia, is a ruthless tyrant and dark rumors hold that he sends his bodyguards to assassinate his political enemies. The formal robe that makes up the underlay of this armor is inlaid with metal plates, retaining an aesthetic pleasing to the simpering nobles of the court, while offering superior protection to the wearer.
Many a would-be assassin has torn through the cloth only to be thwarted by the heavier metal concealed beneath.
The pinnacle of protection, heavy armor is a solid wall of defense against any type of attack, but the extreme weight requirements mean that the wearer must sacrifice mobility.
