While Argos fields a professional army that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with any of its rivals, the regular Argossian forces can easily double or triple in size when the Kingdom is at risk. From a young age, able bodied citizens are trained in the art of war and formed into local units that comprise a massive auxillary army known as the Phalanx.
