The Bakalah who live on the border of Kush are known for their fearsome raids to take slaves and other captives. And none were more feared than Aja, their war-chief, a great brute of a man who was deadly with both club and spear.
This bony club was allegedly used to kill Aja in a moment of betrayal by a neighboring tribe.
